| Alternatives in Health is proud to support Marcus House, a shelter program for children birth to age five which offers an un-paralleled environment of personal respect, physical safety and emotional nurturing. Children who are medically fragile, those requiring specialized care for failure-to-thrive and malnutrition, drug-addiction and those unable to flourish in large group facilities, can heal, grow and learn. Marcus House is the only five-bed shelter agency in Arizona serving this age group. It is a staff intensive, small home insuring that critical and unique needs of vulnerable children are met. Marcus House is a non-profit agency that depends on community contributions. At Marcus House, your generous donation will not only help provide for the basic costs for these worthy children, but will also help make available some of the "extras" that most of us are able to take for granted: a child's first trip to the zoo, birthday celebrations with gifts for all the children, seasonal celebrations, educational toys & games, books, their own clothes which the children can take with them when they leave, and much more that your gift could help make possible.
