Dr. Mercedes Williams has been in the medical field since 1993. Prior to becoming a physician she worked in the field of managed care for one of the nation's largest health care providers. Dr. Williams is a graduate of the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine and Health Sciences, one of 5 accredited Naturopathic Medical Schools.
Dr. Williams is a licensed Naturopathic Physician practicing primary care medicine with a strong emphasis in women’s health. Dr. Williams has a particular passion for infertility, having experienced difficulties creating a family firsthand. Through the gift of Naturopathic Medicine, Dr. Williams and her husband were blessed with the birth of their son Rhys in 2004. The wonder of surrogacy led them to their most recent cherished family members, twin girls Piper and Gemma born in 2006.

Her practice emphasizes excellence in patient care through the use of Bio-Identical Hormones, nutrition and nutritional supplements, botanical medicines, detoxification, IV therapies & education in healthy living to assist patients in reaching total wellness. She uses the fundamental principles of naturopathic medicine as well as state-of-the-art laboratory testing to determine and treat the cause of illness. Naturopathic Physicians cooperate with all other branches of medical science, referring patients to other practitioners for diagnosis or treatment when appropriate. Dr. Williams works in conjunction with allopathic physicians to provide the best patient care possible as she believes, “The future of medicine lies not in the conventional or alternative models of current medicine, but in a blending of the two In her free time, Dr. Williams enjoys spending time with her family, reading and traveling. |
